The Press of Atlantic City is reporting a WARN notice for Trump Taj Mahal has been filed with the state.

The Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act says employers have to give employees 60 days notice of a possible mass layoff. According to the notice, over 3,000 workers at the casino face possible termination on November 13th.

Trump Entertainment Resorts filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection earlier this week and the company says that unless there are reductions in expenses Trump Taj Mahal could close by mid-November. Trump Entertainment's other casino, Trump Plaza, closes next week.
