The Sacred Heart graduating Class of 2012 will be the last for the Catholic High School in Vineland.  Camden Diocese revealed plans today to close three area school in the wake of declining enrollment. According to the Press of Atlantic City Bishop Joseph Galante delivered the news via letter today to Sacred Heart High School, Notre Dame in Landisville/Newfield, and St. Mary Magdalen in Millville.  Rising financial costs would have meant drastic tuition hikes in order for the schools to remain open.  Sacred Heart currently has just 202 students walking its halls in an institution built to educate 350.  Come spring, just 67 seniors will mark the parochial school's final graduation.  The closure is just the latest in a string of consolidations made recently on the state and tri-state level.
