Rylee Howerton of Vineland has been crowned National 'Miss Amazing Preteen,' representing her hometown and New Jersey.

Way to go Rylee!

The Daily Journal reports Rylee Howerton is the only National Miss Amazing Preteen to bring the crown back to her state. She won through her "Choose Wise Words" platform, that focuses on the importance of using encourage words instead of "slanderous labels."

The fifth grader from Winslow Elementary school won New Jersey Miss Amazing Preteen in December, and won the national crown on July 3rd.

For those of you who haven't heard of Miss Amazing Preteen, it is a nonprofit organization that aims to build confidence and strength for young women with disabilities through pageantry.

Now Rylee gets to be part of this legacy, which is no surprise considering all the work she does for her community! According to her mother, Rylee loves to help others and stays involved despite having autism, epilepsy and Trisomy 18.

Nothing seems to stop Rylee from chasing her dreams, and this crown is a testament to that!

Rylee will wear the crown for the next 12 months.
