It looks like Villanova University has hired a company to monitor athletes Facebook posts and tweets!  Is this an accountability thing or an invasion of privacy?  According to NBC Philadelphia, the company is called VarsityMonitor, which "was created to alleviate the burden of managing your athletes social media activities while helping everyone in the athletics industry develop and enforce fair and effective social media policies"

So, why are athletes being monitored, and non athletes aren't?

Is this an invasion of privacy?  Or, is this a good move to protect the University and it's athletes?
