A very large ship carrying very large cargo successfully passed under the Delaware Memorial Bridge early Saturday morning.

We first told you a few days ago that the Zhen Hua 16, a 45,000-ton ship that is almost 800 feet long, was going to transport massive cranes up the Delaware River to the Packer Avenue Terminal in Philadelphia.

To do that, the ship and cranes would need to pass under the Delaware Memorial Bridge at low tide, which happened very early Saturday morning.

At low tide, the margin of error was less than nine feet.

Around 1:00 Saturday morning, the Zhen Hua 16 successfully passed under the Delaware Memorial Bridge with an incredible 5 feet, 8 inches, to spare, as reported by NJ.com.

NJ.com posted a time lapse video of the passing. Keep in mind, the ship passed in the middle of the night, so the video is rather dark.
