Trump Taj Mahal Could Be Facing Bankruptcy

Is Trump Taj Mahal about to file Chapter 11 bankruptcy?

Just days after Revel and Showboat's closings, and days away before Trump Plaza closes it's doors, we're hearing more bad news out of Atlantic City.

According to NBC 40, 'A source familiar with the situation says that Taj Mahal has informed UNITE HERE Local 54 that WARN notices may be issued to employees in near future. 

Senator Jim Whelan of New Jersey's 2^nd District couldn't comment on the possible closure of Taj Mahal but stated his concern, “Hoping against hope that someone is going to come in and save some of these properties...just going to add more pain to what we are already facing.”

Earlier Thursday the NY Post reports that the 24-year-old casino has recently broken some of its loan covenants and could face bankruptcy.'

Will the doors stay open? Or should I ask, how much longer will the doors stay open? Only time will tell, all we can do is hope for the best and prepare for the worst.
