Back in 2003 when he went by simply Thicke, Robin Thicke was attempting to make his mark on the music world on his own after penning several successful hits for other artists.  The result was 'When I Get You Alone', which sampled Beethoven's symphony '5th of Beethoven'.  He reads more like a bike messenger in the song's accompanying music video.  A far cry from the scantily clad ladies he's joined by in 'Blurred Lines'.
