In this New Jersey town, commercial leaf blowers will be banned all summer long thanks to a unanimous vote.

If you live in Maplewood, New Jersey, commercial leaf blowers will not be allowed from June 1 (that's today) to August 31 according to NBC10 Philadelphia.

Apparently, residents were complaining about the noise coming from the noise blowers, which could be pretty loud. And according to one homeowner, the sound of leaf blowers can go for hours because landscapers jump from house to house.

But a point has also been made that by banning commercial leafblowers, its going to take even more time for people to do their job.

For now it's only a pilot program. If all goes well, this could potentially become a permanent ban.
