Locals from all over the world have been sharing how it's obvious when someone is from out-of-town, from running up the 'Rocky steps' in Philly, to wearing 'I Love NY' T-shirts when visiting New York City.

We're not even going to mention selfie sticks.

Other annoying tourist habits mentioned from around the world, are when people who stand on the left of the escalator on the London Underground, and others who call San Francisco 'San Fran'.

Londoners say tourists stick out when they ask how much it costs to ride the bus, and then try to pay with large bills, instead of exact change.

People in Paris say the easiest way to spot a tourist had more to do with the general attitude of a person while using public transportation. Tourists usually smile and talk loudly while riding on buses, trains and subways.
