I've done it, you've done it, we are all guilty of taking a selfie whenever we are looking great or spot good lighting. But now, there is a study that reveals how often we take selfies on average. According to the Bevy American Image Index, Americans take at least SIX selfies every single day.

So, in general, more than half of Americans take at least one photo every day. Some of these Americans have also reported to having to constantly delete photos on their cellphone in order to make space for some more photos, I am unfortunately a culprit of this, haha!

People most commonly take photos of their family and friends (29%), and of their vacations/travel (20%). Following these popular photos, are pets (13%), selfies (6%), and of food (4%). Want to take a guess of whom takes the most selfies? You guessed it; young Americans between the ages 18-24 have 16% of selfies in their phones.

The study also further breaks down which social networks are the most popular for sharing photo. Facebook is still the winner with nearly 50% of photos being shared compared to Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat.

Hilariously enough, the main reason why people unfollow other people is due to excessive selfies...are you one of these people?
