The South Jersey Dog Beach (Voted Second Best in Nation) Just Got Better!

The dog days of summer just became a little bit easier to deal with for our four-legged friends at this world famous South Jersey beach!

A recent poll in the USA Today, voted the popular dog beach in Wildwood as the #2 Best Dog Friendly Beach in America!

Now, that famous, free beach, has plans to grow and move slightly south on the oceanfront when it opens for 'Fido' and friends sometime in June, according to Philly.com.

The new beach will be located about a block from the oceanfront between Maple and Glenview avenues. Our furry friends will now be able to romp on almost two full blocks of the world famous Wildwood beach.

I love taking my dog Josie for a run on the Wildwood beach, and now she'll enjoy it even more with a bigger and better area for pooches!
