The Help Dominates SAG Nods

Kathryn Stockett's best-selling novel-turned-blockbuster movie The Help has earned four award nominations from the Screen Actors Guild, including Ensemble Cast In A Motion Picture.Viola Davis and Jessica Chastain were recognized by their acting peers for female lead and supporting actress performances in The Help.  This year's surprise Ensemble Cast nomination is Bridesmaids.  The comedy earned Melissa McCarthy a nod for supporting actress.

Other films nominated for Ensemble Cast in a Motion Picture were The Descendants starring George Clooney, Woody Allen's Midnight In Paris, and The Artist.

Among the television nominations, ABC's Modern Family leads with five nominations, followed by NBC's 30 Rock and Showtime's Dexter with three each.
