The Curse of Getting Your Boyfriend/Girlfriend's Name Tattooed

When you're in love, you're tempted to do some pretty crazy things to show your love and devotion to your significant other. One of this being, getting a tattoo of their name.

This came to my mind after singer Jhene Aiko got a tattoo of her boyfriend, rapper Big Sean's, face on the back of her arm. And, it's quite large I might add:

WOW. I mean, if there's any proof someone loves you this is definitely it! Alas, other celebrities have done the same thing...

And each time, the couple breaks up thereafter (please google Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa, Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder, Tyga and Kylie...etc).

Time and time again, we have heard the curse of getting your significant other's name tattooed on them. One way or other, it seems people break up. Maybe not almost immediately...but eventually.

Now, if you happen to be someone who has done this, I don't write this to scare you. I am curious to know if you had heard of this curse before, and if so -- why would you still get the tattoo?
