The Cherry Hill based bank will be getting rid of its popular 'Penny Arcade' coin counting machines after years of customers saying that have been short changed.

It's the weirdest thing, because I was literally about to bring my change to one of these machines. So, I was surprised when I came across this on NBC10 Philadelphia.

NBC10 reports, TD Bank has officially made this decision following three class action

lawsuits over these machines and complaints of low-coin counts.

Already in April, the bank has shut down more than 1,000 machines.

The staff at TD Bank reportedly test the machines daily and schedule maintenance checks to avoid these problems. But, customers claim these machines are short-changing them. TD Bank has also mentioned they will immediately credit customers who have reported complaints.

Good news, though...you can always have your pre-rolled coins counted for free. I guess, I better bring my change in before they get rid of the 'Penny Arcade' near me.
