Taylor Swift, Fun., Maroon 5 Top Billboard Music Award Nominees

It's a Fun., Taylor Swift, Maroon 5 three-way tie.  All have received 11 nominations heading into this year's Billboard Music Awards.

Nominees were announced today honoring Rihanna with 10 nods, Carly Rae Jepsen with nine, and One Direction with eight.

Swift, Maroon 5, Rihanna, One Direction and Justin Bieber will compete for the top artist award.

Up for top Billboard 200 album are Swift's "Red," Mumford & Sons' "Babel," as well as One Direction's albums – "Up All Night" and "Take Me Home" – both released last year.

You can watch the Billboard Music Awards live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas May 19 on ABC.  Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, Miguel and Prince are all confirmed to perform.
