Remember the state proposed tanning law , in which kids under the age of 18 would be banned from using tanning beds?  It's about to change---again.

The Senate Health, Human Services and Senior Citizens Committee voted on a compromise today that would allow 16 and 17 yr olds to utilize tanning beds, with parent consent.

Minors will also be prohibited to use the tanning beds on consecutive days, as their visits will be monitored by the salons.

Many tanning salons claimed that the original bill took away from their business, as well as take away parents rights.

The re-vised, and proposed bill is going back to the assembly for consideration.
