Tanger Outlets Atlantic City will be losing one of its stores as part of a national fashion retailer's plan to downsize.

Charlotte Russe, a woman's clothing store aimed at teens and young adults will be closing its Atlantic City location in the near future as part of a bankruptcy filing.

USA Today reports the women’s fashion retailer outlined plans to close 94 stores and put itself up for sale after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

The Atlantic City Outlets The Walk Charlotte Russe store is one of three New Jersey locations slated for closing. There will be 15 remaining Charlotte Russe stores in the state following the closings.

Charlotte Russe said that "in the near term" it will provide additional information about the timing of closing sales and closing dates. It's the second apparel retailer, after Gymboree, to file for bankruptcy this year.

Founded in 1975, there are currently 500 Charlotte Russe stores across the country.
