Kentucky Derby

For me, one of the most exciting aspects of the Kentucky Derby is the traditional drink of the derby, the Mint Julep! This is MY South Jersey version of the classic Southern drink that I've been making for years.

There is a horse from New Jersey that has a real shot at winning this weekend's Kentucky Derby!

I look forward to the running of the Kentucky Derby every year. Having been to the Belmont Stakes in New York, I crave that drama of the last leg of those big horse races. And Saturday there are some beautiful creatures ready to dominate Churchill Downs. But you know I'm picking based on their names as much as their odds.

Tomorrow marks the 138th running of the Kentucky Derby.  This year's race frontrunner is a horse named Union Rags with 9/2 odds. If YOU owned a racehorse what would you name it? Comment and let us know!  Our favorite will win a 3-pack of CD!
