The passing within the last week of Davy Jones has brought a reminder of the influence that The Monkees did have on Pop music.  Their legacy will be firmly intrenched in Pop culture forever!  This edition of "The Playlist" will hopefully further expend upon this as we look at successful songs that came from artists that were real?

Every year we always have "wishes" for the holiday season - The Gift we really wanted, the loved ones we need, the special someone under the mistletoe, Peace On Earth, a White Christmas, just getting to the holidays mostly unscathed, and the resolutions we hope to accomplish for the new year.  The last version for "The Playlist" this holiday season will be to make those wishes
