You can forget about that chocolate pick me up, this new study finds that eating vanilla yogurt makes you happy.

According to a new study by Food Research International, yogurt is not only tasty but the vanilla flavor also provides some comfort to our lives.

In the study, three groups of 24 men and women were given the same brand of yougurt with varied flavors and fat content. The participants facial expressions and eyes were then examined when asked whether or not they liked the yogurt. Based on their positive or negative reactions to their mood, researchers found that eating vanilla yogurt left participants with positive emotions compared to other flavors. Although reasearchers aren't exactly sure why vanilla they suspect it may be because vanilla promotes relaxation for most people.

With this study, theres now a new way to measure exactly how people respond to food. All I know is, that food makes me happy regardless if it's vanilla yogurt or not.
