Southern Regional High School students are mourning the loss of classmate Chris Wildes.

According to the Press of Atlantic City, Wildes and another boy were riding an ATV  on Mermaid Drive when the other young man, who was driving, lost control and ran off the road, going straight through the front yard of a house in the 1800 block of Breakers Drive. Police say boys were ejected.

The driver suffered minor injuries. Wildes, however,  was critically injured and taken to AtlantiCare, where he later died.

Some really sad news here.  Feel free to leave your condolences to the Wildes family, and the students of Southern Regional High School below.
