UH-OH!  Children better be inside by 10 p.m. or the parents risk a fine of as much as $1,000, according to local ordinances in many area towns.  Are you kidding me??  1000 dollars?!  I remember getting grounded for breaking curfew, I seem to remember it was the parents job to keep the kids intact.   Although it seems like there is a good reason behind this,  according to the Press of Atlantic City, the municipalities have curfew ordinances for residents under 18 years old as a way to protect themselves and deter any criminal activity.

OK,  well what if the parents/kids aren't aware?

Hamilton Township tries to remind residents of the curfew through postings on the township’s Web site or television station, yet many are still not aware of it.

That being said, get ready JR!  This summer, you will be mowing laws to pay back mom and dad and that 1000 dollar fine!  Happy Turkey Day!

Do you think the curfew will help us be safer?  Do you think it makes any difference?
