Police did not find him until a full day later, when it was too late.

Orlando Martinez was just an ordinary man minding his own business, working as a real estate agent when he was suddenly shot outside a home he was showing to potential buyers, police say.

The 54 year-old man from Westville was found inside his car on Oakmont Street in Mayfair early Wednesday morning, but police believe he was already shot by almost a full day when they found him. He was immediately transported to a nearby hospital for treatment but unfortunately died.

There is suspicion though that the person who shot Martinez actually knew him.

The belief is that since all of his belongings were left inside his car, as nothing was taken when he got shot, according to officials.

The investigation is still ongoing.
