A South Jersey resident's doorbell camera helped lead police to a thief stealing packages off the front step.

Cops in Gloucester Township were finally able to arrest the suspect, 44-year-old James Jones of Deptford, after Jones was caught on surveillance video back in February absconding with packages from a home off Almonesson Road in Blackwood and then driving away.

On September 16th, a GTPD detective spotted what appeared to be Jones' vehicle in the area of Almonesson Road, according to the department's official Twitter.  Two days later, after a brief follow-up investigation, the suspect was connected as the perpetrator, arrested and charged for the theft.
