This local resident was once recognized as 'Citizen of the Year'.  So, what was his problem?

He was tired of being ignored, and he wanted to get the message out.....loud and clear.

Burlington City's Citizen of the Year told members of the council several times about stray cats becoming a problem.  It seems they wouldn't do anything about it.

So, he did the only thing he could do, put food on their doorsteps.....and lure the cats.

He pleaded guilty for littering, and is stuck with a 250 dollar fine.  On the upside, the council finally listened to him.  According to NJ.com, 'The city council is now considering a program to trap, neuter and release cats.'

Mission Accomplished
