This past weekend was the 20th annual New Jersey BBQ Championship and Anglesea Blues Festival in North Wildwood, and let me tell you it was the place to be in South Jersey.

I could not believe how many different vendors (over 60) were there with such GOOD food. I mean we are taking ribs, pulled pork sandwiches, potato sticks (my favorite), BBQ mac n cheese, cornbread, funnel cake, deep-fried Oreos, and of course your beer and lemonade varieties too.

If you always wanted to learn how to properly cook the perfect pulled pork sandwich or any other BBQ food, you could check out the many different live cooking demonstrations to help craft your skills.

There was not a corner where you didn't see food of some sort. That's what you get when you have 6 blocks of BBQ and delicious grub.

And of course the Anglesea Blues Festival was taking place as well, and featured both national and regional blues musicians all weekend. The BBQ Championship and blues festival helped benefit the Anglesea Volunteer Fire Department, which has been serving the community since 1897.

The vibe really set the mood for a great few days in North Wildwood.

Special thanks to Chipstix, Butch's, and Jacks for the amazing food and a great time!
