"I've had it with these *$#@ snakes on this *$#@ beach!" That's what's being said at the Shore. 

Imagine walking along the surf line on a beautiful day like today and running into a snake. Not just any old snake, a very real and very alive snake that is slithering across the sand.

According to New Jersey Advanced Media, Susan Connor was on the beach at 62nd Street in Avalon when she thought she saw an eel. That's when Susan took out her phone to capture this pic.

It was no eel, it's what experts think was a harmless garter snake.

Local animal control says it's very uncommon for a snake to be that close to the water. It's worth mentioning this is the second time this has happened in the same beach town.
