Saturated by heavy rain, the street asphalt in one South Jersey town caved in creating a decent sized sinkhole.

The hole on N. 3rd Street in Hammonton near Pratt Street was discovered early Tuesday after a night of heavy downpours, 6abc.com reports.

The opening measures about 2-foot by 3-foot hole. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to avoid the area until repairs are made.
