Sinkhole Forcing Traffic Off Garden State Parkway

Cars traveling northbound on the Garden State Parkway are being steered off the roadway at exit 58 (Little Egg Harbor) because of a reported sinkhole.

Sinkhole's can be extremely dangerous, and today's impending storms only threaten to create a larger issue when a crater of that nature forms.  Motorists are being advised to use Route 9-North as an alternate route until further notice.
