There's not much left of an Acura sedan following a horrific crash on I-295 this morning. The accident caused two deaths and three more injuries.

The deadly wreck happened just before 8:30 a.m. Sunday near milemarker 17 in East Greenwich Township, Gloucester County.

Police say two southbound vehicles, on their way to a fair in Salem County, were involved in the collision, 6abc.com reports.

Two occupants inside the grey Acura, 22-year-old Jasmine Gonzalez of Pennsauken and 22-year-old Nkemjika Anyim of Berlin, were pronounced dead at the scene, three others traveling in a white Lexus, including Alicia Leyman of Gloucester City, were sent to Cooper University Hospital for treatment.

The accident closed 295 in both directions for several hours, and remains under investigation.
