SEPTA Bus Gets Stuck on Train Tracks and Nearly Misses Train [VIDEO]

A very terrifying incident took place yesterday afternoon in South Philadelphia.

Imagine riding on a SEPTA Bus and the bus driver wanted to avoid being stuck in traffic because of oncoming train.  He tries to make a quick U-turn in front of the tracks, but instead gets trapped in the tracks, and a train is heading your way.

That's exactly what ended up happening in Philadelphia.  The train managed to slow down in time to avoid hitting the bus, but three passengers were still hospitalized.  Here's more from 6ABC:
