Reward Posted for Info on Atlantic City Gunpoint Robbery

Crimestoppers is hoping to gather information on an incident that happened yesterday in an Atlantic City hotel room, and have posted a reward if any info leads to an indictment.
An armed man – reported by The Press of Atlantic City as William Holmes of Mays Landing – ordered a couple to lie down on the bed, and then bound their hands and feet. The man took money and unspecified valuables, and warned them not to call police because “he had nothing to lose or live for”.
The incident took place at the Atlantic Club Casino, where police report that surveillance soon found a man fitting the description of the 42-yr-old Holmes fleeing on foot northbound towards Providence Avenue.
Holmes had been wanted by the N.J. Division of Gaming Enforcement for a June 8 theft at Showboat Casino-Hotel. Derek Harper of The Press of A.C. says that two days later casino security found Holmes on their property and contacted the DGE, who interviewed Holmes, charged him with theft, and released him on a summons. He was only identified in connection with the robbery after he left.
Crimestoppers is offering cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information on this incident that leads to indictment. You can anonymously call should you choose at 609-652-1234.
