Over the weekend I attended one of the most encouraging concerts I've ever been privy to--Emeli Sande.  You've got to be amazed when an entire crowd of people know every word to every song from a virtually unknown artist in the United States.

Emeli played to a sold-out crowd Saturday at Theater of the Living Arts in Philadelphia.  The singer/songwriter is already huge in her native England, outselling even Adele and One Direction in 2012.  She's penned hits for the likes of Alicia Keys and Rihanna, and is frankly making the kind of song's I'd love to hear from Beyonce and Mariah Carey.  Her album Our Version of Events is available now on Capitol Records, and features the catchy new single 'Next to Me'.  She is an astounding talent, and seeing Emeli once was enough to turn me into a fan for life.
