Gloucester Township police are urging their residents to download the Fur Alert app, as a community effort to find missing pets.

According to 6abc News, the app uses technology to alert users up to a 10-mile radius that your furry love one went missing.
Fur Alert was launched in January, and is becoming pretty popular across the country.
Gloucester Township police noticed how social media can really help people find their missing dog or cat, so this app is just another way to help. All you have to do is sign up to use its services.

I think it's definitely worth downloading as a fellow pet owner!
