Atlantic City Police Report Shooting at Outlets

According to reports from the Press of Atlantic City, a shooting has taken place at The Walk in Atlantic City.

UPDATE 9/1 3:00pm EST: A press release from the Atlantic City Prosecutor's Office states that after a preliminary investigation the incident is the result of a domestic related matter and that there is no on-going threat to the public.

UPDATE 9/1 1:42pm EST: Atlantic City Police are reporting that the lone victim of the shooting has died from his injuries. The suspect was injured from a self inflicted gunshot and is now in custody.

Atlantic City Police tweeted that this is not an active shooting situation and they have one person detained in reference to the incident.

Police are asking that if you're coming into the city, please use Route 40 and Route 30.

Traffic from the Atlantic City Expressway is being detoured onto Fairmont Ave.
