Police Investigating Deadly Accident on Black Horse Pike

A 54-year-old woman was struck and killed just before 10:30 Monday night in Monroe Township.

Action News says the woman has been identified as Susan Pollart of Collingswood, NJ. They're also reporting that police believe she was crossing a poorly lit section of the highway near a Wawa.

The driver who hit Pollart, 22-year-old Michael Sponagle, Jr. of Riverside, NJ, did stop and speak with police, according to 6 ABC.
