Pleasantville Woman Guilty After Stealing Money and A Toilet Seat

A Pleasantville woman has plead guilty to stealing money from her job...and also stealing a toilet seat on top of that.

No, seriously this is a real case.

The former Pleasantville Housing Authority property manger was cashing apartment attendant checks, and kept the $836 for herself. For whatever bizarre reason, she also decided to steal a toilet seat she then installed in her home. Mind you, both the money and the toilet seat weren't hers to take.

After her arrest in April, she was found guilty of theft, and official misconduct. She currently faces three years probation, and has to pay $740 to those affected.

Oh and this goes without saying, she's never allowed to work in public employment ever again.

But seriously, a toilet seat?
