Ocean City Named One of the Most Bike Friendly Towns in NJ
What New Jersey towns and cities are Top 10 to ride a bike in? A report by Rutgers Voorhees Transportation Institute chose a South Jersey town for their top 10.
Ocean City made the cut as a model shore town for its investment in bicycle infrastructure, such as one of the only bicycle boulevards in New Jersey.
Cyndi Steiner, NJ Bike and Walk Coalition executive director commented on the finding of the report.
Speaking to NJ.com, Steiner said:
Each of these towns, by making investments in safer roads, is sending a message to everyone, drivers, bike riders, and pedestrians, that they can feel safe and welcome riding a bike there.
