What would make someone want to do that? How could you live with yourself? What happened to these kids growing up? Those are just some of the questions that went through my mind when I saw this video and read this story.

According to the New Jersey Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, a 17-year-old from Woodbridge teamed up with his buddy in early June to kill geese and goslings by running them down with their Ford Explorer.

These two decided to video the incident and spread it to their friends on Snapchat. The horrific act spread through Colonia High School and eventually into the hands of someone who alerted the NJSPCA.

Warning: this video is graphic and disturbing.

After several days of investigation the two teens were found and admitted to their involvement in the events while being questioned with their parents permissions," the agency stated.

The NJSPCA cited both teenagers with the intentional killing of geese and/or goslings. The case will likely be referred to family court, said Matt Stanton, spokesman for the NJSPCA.

This was no accident. It was planned and filmed! It's this kind of cruelty that makes me question what these teens need more. Punishment or mental evaluation or both.

What should the punishment for these teens be? Should their parents be responsible? Is this the symptom of a bigger problem? Tell us your thoughts in the comment section below.
