Police say a New Jersey couple left their children in a cold car for nearly two hours while they hit a casino floor.

Jarrett Evan Nelson and Ebony Walker, both of Newark, are accused of leaving their 1-year old, 3-year old, and 8-year old alone in a car Saturday night to gamble inside Parx Casino in Bensalem, P.A.

Temperatures dipped into the lower 30's at that time.

Police were called after another casino patron spotted the three kids and alerted security.

The kids were looked over at a local hospital and released to grandparents. They were reportedly unharmed.

Nelson and Walker were taken to jail. The couple now faces charges of recklessly endangering another person.

Authorities tell 6abc.com the case will now be turned over to children and youth services in Newark.
