Enough is enough! Another child had to be rescued from a hot vehicle yesterday in Hackensack, NJ.

My brain hurts. So does my stomach. Are people that #$%^&*@ stupid? How does one STILL leave a child in a hot car? The fact that it happened in NJ makes me sick.

To the mother of this little girl, and any parent that leaves their child in a hot car, the following should happen:

1. They must undergo extensive long-term psychotherapy.

2. The State should investigate into your parenting to determine whether you're mentally capable and fit to raise a child. My guess is, no.

3. The parent should be publicly shammed by having to adorn their vehicle with signs (paid for by said awful parent) that reads "I'm the horribly irresponsible parent of a child that was left in this dangerously hot car."

4. We should all have the ability to schedule a 10-second appointment to slap the parent in the head.

In all seriousness, the consequences for this behavior must be harsher because these idiot parents are not learning.

And don't forget about pets as well!

NJ.com reports a Bergen County Sheriff's officer smashed a van window to rescue a young child left alone in a sweltering vehicle at a store parking lot Thursday, officials said.

Officer Rich Carrion was working on a traffic assignment when an employee at Costco alerted him to the child around 4 p.m., according to sheriff's spokesman Anthony Cureton.

Carrion noticed the child was "sweating profusely" and crying in the car seat. The officer used his baton to smash the window and reach the child.

The officer estimated it was at least 80 degrees in the van, according to Cureton. In the cell phone video taken, you can hear one of the officers say "she's soaking wet" after rescuing her from the van.

The child was released from Hackensack University Medical Center and turned over to the father, according to a spokesman.

Authorities charged the child's mother, Chaeyoung Lim-Kim, with child endangerment.
