As a self-professed Snoopy fanatic, I'm definitely planning to go see The Peanuts Movie when it comes out next month.

Now knowing it features a kid from Jersey, I'm even more excited to check it out!

A.J. Tecce of Medford voices Pig-Pen, the always dirty (and totally lovable) kid constantly surrounded by a cloud of dust.

According to the Medford Central Record, Tecce is an 8th grader at Medford Memorial School. He's been acting and modeling since age 3 and has appeared in several national commercials and print ads. This is his first major movie, and while he was originally hoping to land the role of Charlie Brown in the upcoming film, he was thrilled when he got the news that he got the part of Pig-Pen.

Next week, Snoopy is getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (yes!) and Tecce will head out to L.A. with his fellow co-stars for the ceremony.

Very cool!

The Peanuts Movie hits theaters on Friday, November 6th.
