Looks like Atlantic City won't be broadcasted on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve after all.

Philly.com reports, due to 'scheduling conflicts' and 'other considerations', the New Year's Rockin' Eve concert at Boardwalk Hall is no longer happening. After the two Labor Day concerts were cancelled because of bad weather, this was supposed to be the alternative to make up for the costs.

But once plans and promises were made, there wasn't any announcement about an upcoming act for the New Year's Eve concert. New Jersey Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA) released a statement saying:

"The CRDA continues to work with Dick Clark Productions and our other business partners to attract top-tier artists to perform in Atlantic City.  Though we hoped to sponsor a New Year’s Eve performance at Boardwalk Hall this year, scheduling conflicts and other considerations have redirected our focus to the 2017 concert calendar."

On the bright side at least we're getting more concerts in 2017, and there's still fun events happening on NYE night.

Still, it would have been nice to have a spot on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve.
