New Jersey Authorities Find 100 Cats in Woodbridge Condo

New Jersey authorities have rescued about 100 cats inside a condominium covered in feces, urine and garbage.

Thanks to the State Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), dozens of cats and kittens rescued from the Woodbridge condominium have another chance at life!

NBC10 reports, hazmat crews were called after reports of the smell of animal waste and decaying cats were made. Unfortunately, some were found dead, while others were living inside the attic and walls.

The cats rescued were taken to a veterinarian for treatment, hopefully with full recovery.

June and Richard Dennis, the couple responsible, claim they tried to take care of the cats, but they 'multiplied too quickly,' after their cousin passed away.

Despite their home being in foreclosure and bankruptcy, all his money goes toward 'cat food'.

Now, I understand times are hard But if they knew it was going to be difficult, please just contact a local animal shelter! It always pains me to read stories of the way animals are treated, as well as the conditions they are sometimes found in.

As of now, NBC10 says no charges have been filed.
