Apple is rolling out a new feature with its latest software update that blocks texting while driving, or any other distractions while on the road.

This new feature, called 'Do Not Disturb While Driving,' is part of Apple's iOS11 and will lock your phone if your car is in motion.

So, if your iPhone is connected to Bluetooth or a cable, your phone won't show any notifications (meaning no texts, no social media, no news updates), similar to when your phone is on Do Not Disturb.

CBS Philly mentions, your phone will also send out a response if you get a text. Apparently the text will read 'I'm driving can't respond now,' but no word if you're able to customize yet.

This is pretty impressive on Apple's part! More and more companies, and New Jersey, are doing their part to combat distracted driving, but this takes it to a whole new level.

I haven't been keeping too closely on the new iOS11 update, but I much prefer this versus new emojis I don't really need.

Now if you're sitting there wondering how you're going to be able to use your GPS, you'll be happy to know Apple permits its use without a problem (unless its Google maps).

iOS11 will be rolling out in the fall.
