Near-Miss Asteroid for This Halloween

Not sure I would to put this in the trick or treat category but, This Halloween, a huge asteroid will come scarily close to Earth.The 'Great Pumpkin' asteroid is going to be closer to Earth than any time since 2006. Don't get too frightened because according to cnn.com, the Halloween asteroid will still be a good 300,000 miles from us.

The asteroid is roughly between 300 and 600 meters wide and traveling at 78,000 miles per hr. It will pass through Orion on October 30-31. Asteroid 2015 TB145 better known as the 'Great Pumpkin' asteroid  will be the biggest known object to pass this close to the Earth until the year 2027. So, I guess it's safe to say that you can go out and enjoy the scariest night of the year!
