Naughty Squirrel Destroys Christmas Lights Display in NJ Town

The internet of course, just cannot get enough.

Up in Sea Girt, NJ officials found the wires to their Christmas lighting destroyed! While they were able to replace the damaged wires, officials decided to keep a close eye in case the vandal struck again.

Naturally, Twitter and other news outlets have gone nuts over this story:

News must have been really slow today.

Nonetheless, Sea Girt Police have been unable to actually catch the squirrel, so in the meantime, the lights have been placed under surveillance in case it strikes again.

I'm happy this situation is being handled.
