Nation’s Best Cheesesteak Sandwich Comes From New Jersey

Move over, Philly! Here's some interesting news especially for foodies who love a good cheesesteak sandwich. 

Even though a cheesesteak is commonly referred to as a "Philly cheesesteak", I'm not sure this will make the citizens of Philadelphia very happy to hear. Apparently, the best cheesesteak sandwich is made right here in the great Garden State!

That's right! The New York Post just put out a list of best sandwiches in America thanks to TimeOut.com. One of the sandwiches on the list is of course, the beloved cheesesteak. What's the best place in the country to get an authentic sandwich of cheesy goodness? Donkey's Place in Camden, New Jersey!

Donkey's has been serving delicious sandwiches since 1947. Their cheesesteak specialty involves a Kaiser roll with plenty of mouthwatering steak, caramelized onions, and melted cheese. We're seriously drooling over here.

I remember, my son used to live a block from the infamous Pat's and Geno's eateries in Philadelphia. I've tried both on numerous occasions, but now, I most definitely will have to try a New Jersey cheesesteak from Donkey's!
