The year is 1988.  Julia Roberts is a virtual unknown, still a year away from starring in Pretty Woman, the move that would make her a household name.  But her role as Daisy Arujo in Mystic Pizza was the one the really showed how feisty and complex Julia could mold her characters.  The film about three coming-of-age girlfriends from Mystic, Connecticut working in a pizza joint, became a cult classic, and they cast recently reunited.

Vincent D'onofrio, Lili Taylor, Annabeth Gish, William R. Moses, Adam Storke, and Julia Roberts were brought back together recently for the first time since filming Mystic Pizza for a special edition of Entertainment Weekly.  All I can think is how old William Moses looks now, and how plump D'onofrio's gotten, lol.  It make ME feel old!  But the ladies looks amazeballs.

Remember trying to figure out the mystery ingredient in Leona's (Conchata Ferrell) Mystic Pizza?  And the May/December romance between Tim Travers and his babysitter Kat?  Mystic Pizza will always be one of my guilty pleasures.  And if you look closely at the scene where Daisy (Julia Roberts) has dinner with Charles' (Adam Storke) family, you'll notice an adolescent Matt Damon sitting at the table.
