MTV Alum Diem Brown Dies at Age 32

Diem Brown was always a fierce competitor on MTV reality series like Road Rules and Real World/Road Rules: Challenge.  But she was unable to beat the cancer that ravaged her body.

Brown, who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer at the age of 23, died today at 10:22am at a hospital in New York City.

Her cancer came back twice over the course of the last nine years, and had recently spread to her lymph nodes, stomach, and colon.  She told People.com in August that despite the diagnosis she was committed to fighting and even hopeful she'd get to have children some day.
